IKEA is recalling several types of children’s beds due to the fear they may collapse. Customers who bought Kritter and Sniglar junior-sized beds that were manufactured between March 2011 to May 2013 are asked to contact customer service in order to receive a repair kit.
The recall comes on the heels of seven cases reported to Ikea, worldwide, where the metal rod that connects the guardrail to the bedframe has broken. The exposed sharp edges present a risk for injury.
