Vice Chairman of the Jewish National Fund, and resident of Beit Shemesh, Gael Greenwald, addressed the municipal crisis which occurred in the positioning of Eli Cohen as the mayoral candidate of the Zionist parties, and so replacing Aliza Bloch.
“Our purpose is to change Beit Shemesh’s leadership, and to bring it back on track. It is important for Bayit Hayehudi (Jewish Home) to establish a strong Zionist leadership presence in the city. The main goal is to change the city, not promote a particular individual,” Greenwald stated.
