On Route 443, Tuesday afternoon, a private Israeli bus caught fire between Mevo Horon and Givat Zeev on the side of the road going towards Jerusalem.
Though it is a heavily trafficked area, the bus was empty, and no one was hurt. Traffic was backed up for miles for half an hour, partly because of drivers' slowing down to see the bus and partly because within a 100 meter area of the gutted bus, police closed one lane to traffic
