The pound sterling was set at 5.5394 shekels, down .496 percent while 100 Japanese yen fell .404 percent to NIS 3.6441. The Australian dollar advanced .217 percent to 3.3215 shekels, while its Canadian counterpart was fixed at NIS 3.4515, down .295 percent. The South African rand lost .276 percent to .3617 shekels, and the Lebanese pound was set at NIS .024, down .826.
