The Monday-afternoon shooting that resulted in five dead and three wounded at the Bank Hapoalim branch on Jabotinsky Street in the Neve Ze'ev neighborhood of Be'er Sheva' were residents of the Negev Bedouin community of Rahat, according to Channel 2 Television. The fatality figure includes one of the robbers, who shot himself to death, while the second robber was wounded and evacuated to Soroka Hospital under police guard.
Negev District Police Commander Peretz Amar informed the media that the situation in the bank area was closed.
