Housing Minister Uri Ariel (Jewish Home) responded to the query of MK Avraham Michaeli (Shas) before the Knesset plenum, "I would be delighted to be ordered by the government to build the Third Temple. Please demand it of the PM, and I am ready to carry out the task."
Ariel added, "'Construction freeze' is an inconceivable term, particularly in the capital, where 2682 units were built between 2010-2012. I have met with Mayor Barkat, and we will cooperate to carry out the PM's commitment to build everywhere in Jerusalem. We are also promoting construction across Israel for the Arab sector without discrimination. 700 units are currently being sold in Lower Nazareth, with another 400 on the way."
