MK Miri Regev (Likud), Chairwoman of the Knesset Interior Committee told Maariv that Sudanese aliens should prepare for deportation. “We must defend the citizens of Israel, particularly in South Tel Aviv, (haven for some 55,000 aliens). I will be sensitive and respectful to provide for the foreigners prior to deportation.
Regev continued, "The new fence in the south has halted alien infiltration. Now those in Israel are going home.”
