Sarah (Surikah) Braverman, a paratrooper from Europe at the time of World War II, who served in the pre-state Palmach militia and founded the Women's Corps of the Israel Defense Forces, passed away, Sunday, at the age of 95 at her home in Kibbutz Shamir. Her funeral is scheduled for Monday at the kibbutz.
