Marshak: No More Talk about Uprooting Settlements

Yoel Marshak, who heads the Kibbutz Movement's missions branch, said, Friday, that the government that arises from this week's Knesset elections will not uproot Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria (Shomron). Interviewed by Arutz Sheva's Hebrew service, he said, "I guess the issue of two states for two peoples will arise, but I do not see any situation where they remove hundreds of thousands of residents from their homes" and put them inside the 1949 cease-fire line. There will be arrangements or autonomy that will enable both peoples to live side by side with security arrangements."
