Workers have begun taking apart dozens of homes in the Ulpana neighborhood of Beit El. The homes are to be dismantled and rebuilt elsewhere in the town.
The Supreme Court ordered the homes removed after a Palestinian Authority Arab man claimed ownership of the land they were built on. The man said the land had been sold to Jews by an imposter, and that he was the true owner. A lower court is in the process of hearing his claims.
