Sources in the Obama administration said over the weekend that on his recent visit here, U.S. National Security Director Tom Donilon presented to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu a plan of attack for a campaign against Iran. A report in Ha'aretz Sunday quoted a senior American official as saying that, during the meeting with Netanyahu, Donlion laid out the current situation and discussed areas where Iran was vulnerable, and the appropriate ways and times to take advantage of those vulnerabilities.

The sources said that Donilon stressed to Netanyahu that the U.S. was making its own preparations for dealing with Iran, if the need came up. He added that the U.S. was serious about dealing with Iran, and was not just seeking to calm Israel with public statements on America's support for Israel, the report added.
