The Women in Green movement, after a legal battle, has won police authorization for the traditional Tisha B’Av march around the walls of the Old City in Jerusalem. Police had sought to move the march to a different location over fears of conflict between the Jewish marchers and Arab Muslims.

Conflict is particularly likely this year due to the fact that Muslims are celebrating Ramadan, police argued.

Women in Green argued that changing the march would be rewarding terrorism.
