Seder Features Empty Seat for Pollard

Chairmen Uri Ariel and Uri Orbach of the Knesset lobby for Jonathan Pollard held a Passover Seder, Thursday, opposite the Prime Minister's Office, leaving a chair symbolically empty for Pollard, who has been behind bars for 9,631 days for passing classified information from the United States to Israel. They were joined by other Knesset members and Pollard activists in calling on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to act aggressively, as he has in the past, on behalf of Pollard's release.

MK  Ariel called on all of Israel to leave an empty seat for Pollard. Knesset member Orbach said,  "Our friendship with the United States cannot be complete as long as our brother Jonathan Pollard is held captive by friends. We hope and request that at the next Festival of Freedom, Jonathan Pollard will be free."
