Pilot Test: Jewish Traffic between Adam and Atarot

The highway connecting Adam, northeast of Jerusalem, with Atarot, due north of the capital, will be open to Jewish traffic on a trial basis, Wednesday morning between 6:30 and 9:30. The road has officially been closed to Jewish traffic for a number of years. The decision to open the road to Jewish traffic followed a tour of the area by officers from the Judea and Samaria Division of the Israel Defense Forces with Chairman Avi Roeh of the Binyamin Regional Council.

Roeh told Arutz Sheva that the council has been working on opening the road for a long time, saying it will make things easier for Binyamin region residents.
