'Spitter' Released, Banned from Beit Shemesh

The Jerusalem Magistrates Court ordered, Sunday afternoon, that 27-year-old Meir David Eisenbach of Beit Shemesh - who was caught on video, spitting when a woman passed on Channel 2 television's "Friday Studio" - be released on bond pending his trial on suspicion of spitting on a woman. The court also ordered that Eisenbach be banned from Beit Shemesh for seven days, after his brother-in-law took responsibility for him.

Eisenbach's attorney told Arutz Sheva that his client spit when they stuck a camera in his face. The attorney added, "My client opposes all violence toward people, and definitely toward women."
