Mosaic artwork from an ancient synagogue in Gaza was recently restored and will be dedicated on Chanukah at the Gush Katif Museum in Jerusalem. 

The mosaic is from an ancient synagogue in Gaza City which was built during the Byzantine period about 1,500 years ago. A depiction of King David is featured. For photos and a full article in Hebrew click here.
