Judea Residents Council Decries Barak's "Incitement"

The Judea Residents Council released a statement responding to the police raid on an apartment in Jerusalem where residents of Judea and Samaria were arrested. They referred to the arrest as "an assault" and decried "unrestrained incitement against the residents of Judea and Samaria."

The arrest came a day after protesters prevented the demolition of a hilltop community in Judea and Samaria by breaking into an army center from where demolition vehicles are housed.

"We blame the government for not restraining [Defense Minister Ehud] Barak in his licentious campaign to ignite the area and deepen the rift that began in Gush Katif." the statement read. "Barak is destroying the army, creating a social disaster and finally destroying the Netanyahu government," the statement concluded.
