The German Die Welt newspaper reported Monday that North Korea has supplied Syria with technology to improve its missiles systems. The technology allows Syria to develop stronger metals that will do more damage, and to develop uranium centrifuges, if it wishes to do so.
The report said that Syria was also supplying Hizbullah with M-600 missiles, which have a range of 250-300 km. Those missiles, too, were reinforced with the new metals developed as a result of the North Korean technology. The technology transfer is a violation of at least two UN Security Council resolutions, the report said.
