Professor Shlomo Mor-Yosef expressed hope, Thursday evening, that with cooperative effort, a solution can be found to the dissatisfaction of medical residents with their working conditions under the latest collective bargaining agreement between the government and the Israel Medical Federation. The former head of Hadassah Hospital made the comments as Deputy Health Minister Ya'akov Litzman announced Mor-Yosef's appointment as a special advisor on the medical residents problem.

Earlier, Professor Mor-Yosef denied that he had taken the appointment, expressing confidence in the efforts by Health Ministry Diretor-General Ronnie Gimzu.
