Member of Knesset Danny Danon (Likud) urged Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Wednesday to postpone the evacuation of Jewish villages Israel's disputed heartland.
Danon's statements were made during a tour of Beit El and the surrounding communities north of Jerusalem.
"We won a battle but the struggle over the settlements is not over," Danon said during his tour.
"The State of Israel, with a Likud government, will continue to build and develop the settlements in Judea and Samaria," Danon added. "I suggest that anyone who cares about the good of the country join Likud's ideological path, which is to build and not to destroy."
