Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, his wife Sarah and their two sons attended Erev Yom Kippur prayer services at Jerusalem’s Hovevei Zion synagogue. President Shimon Peres was also in attendance.
Following prayers and in an unusual move, Netanyahu walked through the city and spoke to residents.
