Eldad: Cancel Oslo in Response to Murder

Member of Knesset Aryeh Eldad (National Union) said, Sunday, that the words "Israel Defense Forces and Israel Police - don't cover up their blood" should be added to the prayer "Land - don't cover up their blood," in reference to Friday's murder of 25-year-old Asher Palmer of Kiryat Arba and his infant son Yehonatan on the Hevron-Jerusalem highway. Referring to the initial police finding that the stoning of Palmer's car was only an auto accident, he quoted Zionist leader Ze'ev Jabotinksy's statement that "Silence is muck."

Speaking during a prayer gathering at the murder site, Professor Eldad continued, "The Arabs continue to murder Jews because they understand that, in spite of the murder, the prime minister of Israel gets up a few hours after the murder and promises them a state in the heart of our homeland. With his own hands, Netanyahu is undermining the iron wall which was supposed to rip the hope of the Arabs to defeat us out of their hearts. The only response to the murderers must be a declaration of the cancellation of the Oslo Agreements and implementation of Israeli law and justice in Judea and Samaria."
