Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said on Tuesday that he only recognizes the current Libyan government headed by Muammar Qaddafi.
Chavez, who called Qaddafi “a friend and an ally,” accused the United States of incitement which led to the outbreak of civil war in Libya, and blamed the West for trampling international law when it supported the rebel forces that were fighting Qaddafi.
