Ohio Business Department Closing Israeli Office

As part of ongoing budget cuts, the Ohio Department of Development is closing its Israeli office, along with offices in Brazil, Japan and 10 other countries. The office helped Israeli businesses interested in exporting to the state of Ohio and facilitated other trade relations. According to the Cleveland Jewish News, business leaders in the northeastern American state are disappointed, but said that relations between Israeli and Ohio businesses would continue.
