The PM has gone back on the understanding with Turkey, by which Israel will apologize for operational errors during the IDF commandeering of the Marmara Gaza flotilla ship. The PM has also backed down from Israel’s offer to compensate the families of the violent anarchists who were killed in the operation.
The decision of the PM is due to the resignation threat of FM Avigdor Liberman over the issue.
