Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria have nothing to do with the current protest calling for affordable housing, Vice Premier Moshe Yaalon said Wednesday. “Construction in Judea and Samaria is not related to the struggle, although if we were to build more in Judea and Samaria, there would be more affordable housing,” he said.

He rejected attempts by left-wing protest organizers to blame the construction of Jewish towns in Judea and Samaria for the rising cost of housing in other parts of Israel.
