Knesset Cancels Mandatory Biking Helmet

The Knesset has cancelled the requirement for bikers to wear helmets within city limits. The law, proposed by MKs Dov Chenin and Nitzan Horowitz is to encourage people to ride bicycles. Research has demonstrated that the requirement to wear a helmet deters people from bike riding.
