Yehuda Puah of the Task Force for Solving the Housing Crisis in western Samaria, called on the masses, Thursday, to join a demonstration for affordable housing, scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in front of the Habimah Theater in Tel Aviv. Interviewed by Arutz Sheva's Hebrew service, he noted that western Samaria was protesting the situation long before the current left-wing demonstrations, but said that unlike the leftists, the Samarians are looking for a solution without trying to bring down the government.
While saying that there must be construction nationwide, Puah said massive building in western Samaria is the real solution to the problem, explaining, "In western Samaria there are tens of thousands of building permits. It's not a matter of bureaucracy. Bibi [Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu -ed.] simply has to sign them, and if he signs them, it will lower the pressure on the central area. Western Samaria is very close to Tel Aviv, a trip of only a quarter hour. Communities like, Ariel, Nofim, Alphei Menashe and Karnei Shomron are really the central part of the country."
