MK Zahava Gal-On on Sunday submitted a law that would require products produced in Judea, Samaria, and the Golan as such, in order to allow Israelis like her to more easily boycott such products. Gal-On said that she personally did not buy any products produced in Yesha or the Golan in order not to  “support the culture and economy of occupation” associated with such purchases.

The Knesset is set on Monday to approve a measure that would prevent the government from doing business with any entity that boycotts products from Yesha and the Golan, or that participates in such a boycott by doing business with companies, local and foreign, that make a point of not buying Yesha and Golan products. Commenting on Gal-On's proposal, National Union Chairman MK Ya'akov Katz (Ketzaleh) said that "Gal-On's proposal reminds us of dark periods in Jewish history when we were marked for exile and destruction. She does not hide her hate and hostility for Israel."
