Rabbi Ya'akov Yosef was not at home in Jerusalem's Shmuel Hanavi neighborhood Thursday morning, when a force of police arrived in an apparent attempt to detain him for questioning in connection with the book Torat Hamelech, which deals, among other things, with the treatment of non-Jews in wartime.
A Border Police vehicle was sent to the house, its arrival surprising hundreds of yeshiva students who rushed to the rabbi's house.
