It was disclosed Thursday evening that the United States launched airstrikes last week against Al-Qaeda targets in Yemen. American sources say the attacks were intended to prevent the terror network from gaining strength as a result of country's political crisis.
Mid-level Al-Qaeda commander Abu Ali Al-Hariti was killed in the attack.
