Secret Note Stops Knesset Session

A meeting of the Knesset's Finance Committee ended suddenly on Tuesday when chairman MK Carmel Shama (Likud) received a note, the contents of which he would not divulge. The committee had been discussing the Ofer Brothers and other Israeli companies accused of trade with Iran.

Shama said, “I cannot tell you what is written in the note, but we were waiting for a response.” He then called an end to the proceedings.
