Muammar Qaddafi's reign in Libya is almost at an end, NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said Monday. Speaking to a NATO forum in Varna, Rasmussen said that “Our operation in Libya is achieving its objectives ... We have seriously degraded Qaddafi's ability to kill his own people.
“Qaddafi's reign of terror is coming to an end,” Rasmussen added. “He is increasingly isolated at home and abroad. Even those closest to him are departing, defecting or deserting.”
