Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu called on Thursday Brigadier General Orna Barbibai to congratulate her on the occasion of being promoted from the rank of colonel and being appointed to the position of head of the IDF Personnel Directorate.
Netanyahu noted that there is great importance to incorporating women in prominent positions in the General Staff forum, in the IDF and in Israeli economy in general.
“Your appointment is a big step for Israeli society and also passes an important message to many countries,” Netanyahu told Barbibai.
