Plainclothes gunmen killed at least 10 protesters and wounded dozens more in Yemen’s capital Sanaa on Wednesday, when they opened fire on protesters demanding the immediate ouster of President Ali Abdullah Saleh, Reuters reported.
According to the report, the killings came following a day of demonstrations by tens of thousands of Yemenis, many of whom protested a plan supported by the government and the main opposition group which would give Saleh a month-long window to resign.
