200 members of the Syria’s ruling Ba’ath Party in the Daraa region submitted their resignations on Wednesday, in wake of the violence by Syrian security forces against demonstrators in the country, the Lebanese television channel MTV reported.
They join the 30 members of the party in Banias who had earlier announced their resignation for the same reasons.
