Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu called Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas on Wednesday and congratulated him over the reconciliation agreement between the Fatah and Hamas movements.
It was also reported that the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, Mohammed Badi, called Hamas’ Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh to congratulate him on the agreement.
