Forecasters are predicting local rainfall on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Temperatures will remain steady on Thursday, but are expected to drop over the weekend.

The late rains follow an unseasonably dry fall, which sparked fears of a major drought. Spring storms have since partially replenished the water supply, but Israel's main water source, the Kinneret, remains low.
