Russian forces eliminated a member of the Al-Qaeda international terror organization during a clash with Muslim extremists in Chechniya on Friday, accordng to Kol Yisrael government radio.
The terrorist was a senior representative of the group in the northern Caucasus. The National Council for the Fight Against Terror in Moscow said two other apparent Al-Qaeda members were killed in the clash.
