Prayers were held Wednesday at the tomb of Rabbi Chaim Yosef David ben Yitzchak Zerachia Azoulai, more commonly known as the Chida, for the recovery of 16-year-old Daniel Viflic. Daniel was critically wounded in a terrorist attack on a bus several days ago, and continues to fight for his life in hospital.

Worshipers also prayed for the recovery of Odelia Assoulin, a 14-year-old girl who remains in serious condition following the bombing of a Jerusalem bus terminal opposite the Binyanei Hauma convention center.
