Arguments started Monday in the Tel Aviv District Court in the sentencing of Anat Kam, who entered a plea bargain for taking classified documents as she was about to end her military service and passing them on to Ha'aretz reporter Uri Blau.

The first to testify was Kam's brother in law, Samuel Sokol of the Washington Post, who said Kam never gave him any information. Following the testimony, Judge Raanan Ben Yosef told Kam's attorneys, "You could have brought someone from 'Yediot Acharonot' who could have said that she never gave him information."
