France over the weekend condemned the rising violence between Israel and Hamas. In a statement, French Minister of Foreign Affairs Bernard Valero urged both sides “to make every effort to break this spiral of senseless violence and killing, and to respect a lasting truce. France condemns the escalating violence that has resulted in recent days from a series of rockets and mortars fired into southern Israel, and Israeli military operations.
