Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Al-Arabi said Wednesday that his country plans to turn over a new leaf in its relations with all countries and political parties, including Iran and the Iranian-funded Lebanese terrorist group Hizbullah. Iran is not an enemy to Egypt, al-Arabi said, and Hizbullah is part of the Lebanese political scene.

He also said that Egypt would take a new approach to Gaza. Previously, Egypt has limited the movement of people and goods to and from the Hamas-run region.

Al-Arabi's comments, made to Egyptian media, were translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).
