Argentinian government officials have offered to abandon their investigation into the attacks that occurred at the Israeli Embassy in Buenos Aires and a Jewish community center in the 1990s in exchange for improving trade relations with Iran. The Perfil weekly newspaper released an investigative report that charges Foreign Minister Hector Timerman with conducted negotiations with Iranian officials. He is also reportedly scheduled to meet with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
