Author Amos Oz has given terrorist mastermind Marwan Barghouti a copy of his book “A Tale of Love and Darkness” along with a friendly message, according to Channel 2. Oz wrote a personal message expressing hope that Barghouti, who is serving a life sentence in jail for multiple murders, will be released soon.
The book was passed on to Barghouti by MK Chaim Oron (Meretz), who frequently visits the imprisoned terrorist.
MK Uri Orbach slammed Oz, saying, “Oz insults and condemns his own people, the 'settlers,' but sends greetings and books to the enemy. This is what it looks like when love and darkness combine.”
