The Knesset Economics Committee on Monday began discussions on the lack of manpower to fills senior hi-tech positions. Representatives of the industry said that unless steps were taken now, there would be severe shortages of computer software engineers and analysts in the coming years.
The officials said that Israeli companies had exported as many as 15,000 jobs abroad because of the lack of personnel to fill them.
