New Egyptian FM 'Very anti-Israel'

Egypt's new foreign minister, Nabil Al-Araby, is one of the more radical anti-Israel figures in the new Egyptian government, Israeli officials said. Al-Araby in the past represented Egypt at the International Criminal Court, seeking to indict Israel over the construction of the security fence. In his brief to the court, Al-Araby said that he was joining the “Arab and Muslim lawsuit against the crimes of Israel.”

Egyptian officials said over the weekend that there was unlikely to be any change in Egypt's policies towards Israel, despite Al-Araby's stance.
