Senior officials of the Fatah movement sent a letter to Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas Thursday, in which they demanded the firing of PA Prime Minister Salam Fayyad.
The officials expressed their frustration at the way Fayyad was performing his duties. A Fatah official made it clear that Abbas did not take the letter seriously.
