British Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborn announced Sunday that his country was freezing the assets of Libyan leader Muamar Qaddafi in accordance with action by the United Nations Security Council.
Osborn said that the decision applies to all members of the Qaddafi family and anyone operating in their name.
