Iran on Saturday told the International Atomic Energy Agency that it was releasing gas from its nuclear facility in Bushehr, This is the first time that Iran has admitted to having technical problems at the facility, which came on-line a few months ago.
The Iranian representative to the IAEA said that the gas was being released on the recommendation of the Russian engineers who built the facility, so that the could conduct checks of the facility's inner workings.
